Technology will have a front row seat at this year’s Paris Fashion Week as designers pick 3D printing technologies over a needle and thread. New advances in 3D printing allow for both soft and hard materials to be used, giving designers the ability to print flexible garments that can be worn down the runway. Lasers are then used to create intricate patterns, and are even capable of replicating a delicate lace texture.
